The last week before boarding: what to bring and what to leave behind

Please refer to the handbook instructions first.
When flying on U.S. domestic flights, please be sure to follow the 3-1-1 Rule: Each carry-on item’s container must be 100 milliliters or less. If a container is larger than 100 milliliters, either place it in your Checked Bag or empty it completely!
Must-Have / Strongly Recommended Items
(The following does not include daily living essentials)
- An unexpired passport
- I-20 (or DS-2019)
- If you bring a lot of medications (unless you take them frequently or have a special prescription, you don’t need to pack too many), please include a medical diagnosis certificate (or keep the original hospital medication packaging).
- Vaccination certificate (including the Yellow Card)
- International driver’s license (or Taiwan’s driver’s license if you don’t have an accident record)
- Credit cards
